I use Prismacolor Markers.
These are my specific tools of color. I have found that the light peach works out the best for white skin. I have yet to find a satisfactory brown for skin tones. I may be missing a few colors. ( I specifically remember having a Deco Green and Purple, and yet no. no I don't.) The best starting red is Poppy Red, add Crimson and Henna to purples for shadows. Some colors are too pale to show up. Cold stone is a reaaaaly light grey blue color. For anyone who wants a look at my color pallete here it is. BTW this is my tiny sketch book. It's about 5.5" by 9". my swatches are TINY! |
